I got my wand this weekend and love it. I to, have some issues with the rotation, but will work through that.

I am the AV Systems Integrator with Elon University in Elon, NC and we have around 150 smart classrooms on campus. All Crestron based. We also have a professor who teaches a Harry Potter class during one of our short semester. I plan on integrating the wand controls to operate the classroom. The first day impression will be unforgetable and this will also help the professor stay in charactor.

I will post more information as I get this project done.

I'm planning to play around with command sequences to see how complex a sequence it will learn -- since you're using it with a Crestron system you may be doing the same thing. Please post any notes you have, and I'll do the same.

That sounds really cool.
Perhaps also useful for some theatrical performances.

Got my second wand today after I gave the first away as a gift. Took less than a minute to program it again.
